Creativity and Innovation Mastery Journal

Slide/Image from the Mastery class outlining my goals for this class

As I progress through the program, as a type of accountability, it is vital to look back at the goals that I set out for myself and evaluate my success in achieving them.

My first goal was to (further) develop my ability to look for innovation within larger organizations. I do believe I have a further understanding of the core innovation concepts and a solid footing from which I can continue my mastery journey. I read several unassigned articles from EBSCOHost, and also started reading a book about innovation called The Prosperity Paradox.

My next goal was to “build my ability to assist in strategic thinking within start-ups” (quote from slide/image above). I read Practically Radical and thoroughly enjoyed it. Taylor (in that book) profiles some amazingly innovative organizations. Highly recommended.

My last goal was to ensure my full understanding of creativity and innovation within a business/organizational setting. I do believe this class, and the content within it has helped strengthen my conviction in my understanding of this topic.
